See Beauty. Be Beauty.

What becomes visible
when we attend differently
to the life already here?

The field is the inhabited life.

And you?

What keeps catching your attention?

What do you return to?

What has become so familiar that you no longer quite see it?

I’m Amy.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been curious about how we live our lives—how we pay attention, make meaning, create, learn, lead, care for what matters, and participate in the flourishing of the people and places around us.

That curiosity has taken me through more than three decades of leadership, teaching, coaching, contemplative practice, creative work, and lifelong learning.

These days, I’m increasingly interested in what becomes visible when we attend closely, enter more deeply into relationship with the life already underway, and allow what we encounter to shape our response.

Individual Work

One-to-one accompaniment

Sometimes attention becomes inquiry.

For many years I have accompanied individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations through questions of change, meaning, leadership, creativity, well-being, and flourishing.

The form varies. The starting place is usually the same: what is actually here?

The Inherited Garden

Life is an inherited garden.

We enter lives already underway.
Much was here before us.
And still, we participate.

Before we are makers of the world,
we are receivers of a world already underway.

The Inherited Garden is an evolving body of work exploring attention, relationship, creativity, inheritance, response, stewardship, and the conditions that allow life to flourish.

It has grown from a question I have been living for a long time:

How does a place shape a life, and how does a life shape a place?

Returning to hospitality.

Gathering color from the ground beneath my feet.

Watching October arrive in the garden.

Making a home for what wants to be shared.

Correspondence

I still believe in conversations that unfold slowly, questions worth carrying and notes sent simply because something made us think of one another.

If something here has stirred a thought, a question or a recognition—or you’d like to explore working together—you're welcome to write.
